UPCOMINGJune is the month of the Sacred Heart! This Friday, June the 12th is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, & Saturday the 13th is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
[There is also a Catholic devotion that honours the feast of the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph on the following Wednesday, although it's not a universal liturgical feast.]
As our Ablaze Mission Statement says, "Ablaze Family Ministries is a welcoming & joyful, spiritual home where young people and families encounter the Holy family of Jesus, choose to follow Him, & discover that life is worth living."
The Holy Family shows forth a perfect union of Mercy, almost as if the Three Hearts of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph beat as one Heart.
Anytime from June 12-19 come to view the Icon of the Sacred Heart on display from the Knights of Columbus & feel free to join the Youth on June 19 (6:30-9 pm) for a family event including Adoration honouring the Sacred Heart.
This week at Ablaze Friday Youth Night, we will be going to St. Bonaventure School gym for sports & games. We are also nearing the end of our “Connected” program through Ascension Press!
