The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is a lay Catholic organization dedicated to serving Christ in our neighbours in need. At St. Bonaventure Parish, Vincentians offer compassionate, practical assistance to individuals and families in our community.

WHO WE ARE
Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are known as Vincentians. Rooted in prayer and friendship, Vincentians strive to see the face of Christ in those they serve and to respond with dignity, compassion and respect.
WHAT WE DO
Our parish conference provides practical support to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship or other difficult circumstances. Depending on each situation and the resources available, assistance may include food and essential items, personal support and connections to other community resources.
BECOME A VINCENTIAN
Volunteering with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an opportunity to live your Catholic faith through prayer, fellowship and direct service to others. New members are welcomed, supported and guided as they become involved.
All volunteers complete the applicable diocesan screening and training requirements. The parish Volunteer Ministry Coordinator will guide you through each step.
