You don’t have to grow in faith alone. St. Bonaventure offers a variety of opportunities to explore Sacred Scripture, deepen your Catholic faith, pray with others and build meaningful friendships within our parish community.

Whether you are new to Bible study, looking for a regular faith community, or simply hoping to deepen your prayer life, you are welcome to find a group that fits you.

Monday Night Faith in Action: A Development & Peace Ministry

Gather with fellow parishioners to explore the social teachings of the Catholic Church and discover how our faith calls us to respond to issues of justice, human dignity, solidarity and care for those in need. Through discussion, reflection and resources from Development and Peace – Caritas Canada, participants learn how Catholic Social Teaching can be lived out in our everyday lives and in the wider world.

When: Last Monday of each month, October through June
Time: 6:00–8:30 p.m.
Who: Adults ages 18+ are welcome

St. Anne’s Mothers Group

St. Anne’s Mothers Group is a faith-filled community for mothers to grow in friendship and deepen their Catholic faith. Meetings include catechesis through Scripture, the Catechism, the lives of the Saints and other areas of Catholic formation, followed by discussion and a shared book study.

When: Tuesdays following the 9:00 a.m. Mass

Tuesday Night Young Adult Bible Study

Young adults are invited to gather for Scripture study, faith-filled conversation and fellowship. Together, participants explore God’s Word, ask questions and encourage one another in living the Catholic faith.

Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a lay Catholic apostolate centred on prayer, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and active service to others. Members gather regularly for prayer and spiritual formation and seek to bring the love of Christ to others through works of apostolic service.

Visitors and those interested in learning more are welcome.

Cenacle of Prayer

Gather in prayer with the Blessed Virgin Mary through the Marian Movement of Priests. The Cenacle is a Marian prayer gathering centred on the Rosary, prayer for the Church, spiritual reflection and consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. All are welcome to join in this time of prayer and fellowship.
