Typical Commitment: One hour each week at a designated weekday time.
Becoming Catholic & Sacramental Formation
RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Accompany adults who are exploring the Catholic faith or preparing to enter into full communion with the Church. Volunteers may assist with hospitality, catechesis, Scripture reflection and walking alongside participants throughout their journey of faith.
Typical commitment: regular weekly participation from the fall through Easter, depending on the role.
Sacrament Preparation Help children and families prepare to encounter Christ through the sacraments. Volunteers may assist with catechesis, hospitality, activities and other aspects of sacramental preparation throughout the year. Commitment varies according to the sacrament and volunteer role.
