RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is for those who desire to become members of the Catholic Church by receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, & Holy Eucharist.

Generally, RCIA is for individuals who were never baptized or were baptized outside of the Catholic Church. Each year, St. Bonaventure offers the opportunity to participate in a time of preparation & discernment, where you will have the opportunity to truly dive into the Catholic faith.

Father Colin O'Rourke, Father Lawrence,  along with RCIA leaders, welcome & initiate newcomers through a program of liturgical, educational, &  social events throughout the year.

Ultimately, the process of getting one’s heart, mind & soul ready to become a member of the Catholic Church, rooted in history & rich in tradition, is an individual journey, & our Lord Jesus is with you every step of the way!
